Bradken’s innovative range of Evolution® crawler shoes for Caterpillar® 6030, 6040 and 6050 undercarriages incorporate enhanced designs that improve safety and reliability compared with previous OEM designs.

Increased Service Life
Bradken’s innovative range of Evolution® crawler shoes incorporate enhanced designs that improve safety and reliability compared with previous OEM designs. Bradken’s ‘Continuous Roller Path’ and increased pin bore contact were designed using our induction-hardening alloy to deliver increased service life and reduced safety risks associated with deformation, spalling and cracking.
Reliability
With induction hardened pin bores and greater contact area, Bradken has eliminated the requirement for crawler shoe bushes; the leading cause of crawler shoe failure observed for other designs. Bradken’s ‘Continuous Roller Path’ and other design enhancements provide superior strength and support to critical areas. Bradken’s crawler shoes deliver consistent and dependable performance, especially in the worn condition and under extreme applications, giving our customers the confidence to schedule condition-based maintenance while minimising the risk of unplanned downtime events.
Interchangeability
Bradken Evolution® crawler shoes are fully compatible with OEM drive tumblers, idlers and rollers, but are not interchangeable with OEM crawler shoes. All other Bradken undercarriage components are fully interchangeable and compatible with OEM installation requirements. Our customers have the security of Bradken warranty support even when Bradken components are installed alongside competitor components.
