From a small Australian-based foundry business, Bradken has evolved over the past 100 years to become a leading wear solutions provider to the global mining and resources market.
We specialise in solving our mining customers’ wear challenges, supporting their bulk handling and mobile plants to operate at peak efficiency by using innovative technologies and project-focused engineering to design, manufacture and supply high quality parts and services.
In North America, our Specialty Products business is a leading global manufacturer of innovative, complex engineered castings and fabrications for customers in the rail and transit, specialized industrial and defense markets, and mining and resources sectors.
In Australia, Bradken also has a long history as a trusted provider of transport solutions and consumables for the sugar cane milling industry.
With a focus on safety, collaboration, innovation and sustainability across all aspects of our business we bring reliability, certainty and confidence to all our partners and stakeholders through consistent and long-term delivery of our products, services and solutions.

Current capacity – 24,000T per annum.

Products – Locomotive rail and transit components and assemblies; mining, construction, industrial and military castings and general steel castings. 

Location – Bassendean, Western Australia

Site type – Fabrication workshop

Size – 30,000 Sq metres

Products – Custom made wear liners; fabrication and refurbishment of material transfer and storage assets.

Location – Coimbatore, India

Foundry type – Induction

Current capacity – 24,000T per annum

Products – Mill liners; wind turbines.

Location – Edmonton, Alberta Canada

Site type – Fabrication workshop

Size – 23,000 sq metres

Products – Chrome carbide overlay pipe for the Oil Sand mining market.

Location – London, Ontario Canada

Foundry type – Induction

Current capacity – 4,000T per annum

Products and services – Highly engineered, large, complex, mission critical steel, stainless steel, grey iron, ductile and white iron products  for the energy, industrial and military markets. State of the art CNC Pattern shop. Extensive machining capability.

Foundry type – Induction

Current capacity – 7,500T per annum

Products – Mill liners; crusher liners.

Location – Mont-Joli, Quebec Canada

Foundry type – Induction

Current capacity – 35,000T per annum

Products – Mill liners.

Location – Tacoma, Washington USA

Type – Electric arc AOD and induction furnace

Current capacity – 6,500T per annum. Casting net weight 100 to 48,000 lbs.

Products and services – Highly engineered large, complex, mission critical steel, stainless steel, duplex monel and nickel base castings for the energy, industrial and military markets. Full service pattern and machine shop.

Location – Wodonga, Victoria Australia

Site type – Foundry (Electric arc furnace)

Current capacity – 7,000T per annum

Products – Ground engaging tools, Rail products, industrial castings; general steel castings up to 50kg.

Location – Wundowie, Western Australia

Site type – Foundry (Induction)

Current capacity – 3,800T per annum

Products – General iron castings; wear resistant blocks; general industrial castings.

Location – Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province China

Site type – Foundry (Electric arc AOD furnace)

Current capacity – 20,000T per annum

Products – Mill liners, crawler shoes and GET.
