How do I apply for a position with Bradken?
To apply for a position with Bradken, review our current opportunities page and click on the Apply Now button to put in your application. You will have to upload a copy of your resume and covering letter and complete the application form. Each role might have a set of screening questions that you will be required to answer as well.
Can I submit a general application for suitable positions that may become available in the future?
We’re always looking for great people and are actively building our talent pool and would welcome your involvement. General applications are accepted and kept on file for future reference to related positions for 12 months before being archived.
We have an expression of interest posting on our careers section where you can put in a general application. Do include your current location and a cover letter referencing the roles you are qualified for.
When will i hear back regarding the status of my job application?
Candidates will be advised the status of their application once the job advertisement period closes and shortlisted candidates have been determined. You will receive an outcome via email from one of our Careers team members.
Am i eligible to apply for a position with Bradken?
Candidates must have the right to work in the country the prospective position is located and may be required to supply evidence of this.
Will i be required to complete a medical?
Yes, successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing prior to commencing with Bradken. The type of pre-employment medical will vary from role to role and is determined by the inherent requirements of the role.
Am i required to complete any psychometric assessments to obtain a position with bradken?
You may be. Bradken uses a variety of assessments, which are selected based on the skills and level of the role you are applying for.
What do psychometric assessments measure?
Bradken uses assessments which measure the abilities and preferences that are important to the role you are applying for. Some of these may include; problem solving ability, verbal and numerical reasoning ability and behavioural preferences as well as sales ability for some roles.
Will i be provided with a copy of my psychometric assessment results?
Candidates will not be provided with a copy of their Psychometric Assessment reports. However, you can request feedback from the Careers team when you are not successful for a role.
