BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) and the Bradken Sales and Marketing teams recently collaborated to raise awareness of two significant causes in Australia, the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and Beyond Blue – a mental health and well being support organisation.
To assist with raising awareness at BMA’s mine sites, two CAT 6040 Buckets were painted Pink and Blue respectively, to represent each charity organisation.
The project initiated by BMA, and with Bradken’s support demonstrates the commitment both companies have to these causes and raising awareness for employees. The buckets were recently delivered to the BMA mine site, Peak Downs in the Queensland Bowen Basin region.
We are proud to help raise awareness of these organisations and causes and encourage everyone to gain support if they need it.
This is timely as October is Breast Cancer Awareness across Australia and Mental Health Awareness Month globally. As with past years, Bradken will be participating in Mental Health Awareness Month and acknowledging World Mental Health Day on October 10. You can find out more about these organisations on their websites below:
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body, funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public. https://nbcf.org.au/
