Bradken and Hitachi Construction Machinery
In April 2017, Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. Ltd (HCM) acquired ownership of Bradken Limited.
HCM is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, headquartered in Japan with over 20,000 staff globally. They market their products worldwide through a global network of company owned and independent dealers.
This partnership signifies a new era for Bradken that will deliver all of our customers improved value as we make the most of synergies with HCM to build a stronger, more advanced business.
Bradken’s expertise in designing, manufacturing and maintaining parts for construction and mining equipment naturally complements HCM’s large fleet of equipment.
Bradken will be working to increase its and HCM’s value for customers through a constantly improving value chain. We will enable HCM to provide comprehensive solutions for client productivity enhancements and develop a stronger after-sales business. We will be looking to improve the life cycle cost of products and have our parts not only on HCM’s equipment, but also on its competitors as we become the core service parts supplier across the globe.
Bradken’s offering to its broad customer base is only strengthened by this relationship as we have increased effective means to work closely with our customers to develop and deliver the best solutions to their challenges.
